Yeah, JM PS1 definately aint that smooth. What is the fps in 2 player mode with 20 racers enabled? It was pretty unplayable to me.

Alright, I just found how to get a glitch in Mercury which would allow me to do a record without falling off my bike once. I'll try that.

OH SHIT! I just found out that if you load a JM2124 track with 1x CPU OC, save state and then load the save state with 4x OC, you can play through the tracks without the annoying water texture glitch! Although, some tracks will still have parts of them disappear, like Nexus which is nearly unplayable.

Jet Moto 3 Devil's Canyon Bomber
1:41.43
Took me all night too.
Please inform me if someone beats it by messaging my youtube or commenting on the video or somethin, so I can get a notification, and can remove "World Record" from the title, although I hope to never do that. Also, it's only after the finish line cuz there's no way in hell my computer is recording inside ESPXE without some slowdown, and that would be cheating, so I hit the recording hotkey after I crossed the finish line. Plus it's like 500 megs every 9 seconds, and my comp aint doin that.

Heh, yeah, I love some competition. I wouldn't mind trying the 2124 ones either. I've been playin since I was like, 3 and had my ps1 with jet moto 1 on it. I remember my dad stepped on the disc and busted it when I was like 5, so I bought 2, and later on 3. Oddly enough, I'll never forget my dads foot coming down on JM1, and that loud crack, oh lord. I remember bawling my eyes out, cuz I was 4 or 5 years old.

I played since I was 3 too! I started with JM3 and JM2 CE though, and I always liked 3 more, to this day I don't really like CE that much, but I like 2 as much as 3. You should try 2124 btw, it's really awesome, it's my favorite out of all the games.

Oh, I've played 2124 a while back, props to you all for getting it btw, I just haven't tried for records yet. But I will.
In terms of JM2CE, I never knew about the CE when I was a kid, not until recently did I learn about it. I think it is nowhere near as good as the original. Not that I blame them, it was a mistake it was even printed.
My fav would definitely be JM2, It's the one I remember most as a kid, especially suicide swamp and nightmare give me nostalgia, as they were my favs, even though they were JM1 tracks, it was cool that they had them all in the game. I think I just unlocked all of the tracks with cheats when I was a kid though, there's no way 5 year-old me was beating that game. The music stood out to me when I was a kid as well, I've always loved it. Same with the Mega man/Megaman X music. I even had some fav Mega Man tracks burned to a cd when I was really young, I barely remember it. I also have a childhood memory of having my parents old windows 98 computer, and listening to the suicide swamp theme over and over in Windows media player, with those trippy effects that used to mesmerize me.

I love JM2, I managed to beat the game entirely a few years ago, and damn did it feel good. Although now I find it really easy, I know how to get all the trophies. The music in JM2 and JM1 is definitely some of my favorite of all time, I love all of them, and it's weird that not a single game the music group which did the music for Jet Moto had a soundtrack as kickass as JM. I guess the games really inspired them to make great music. My favorite music tracks are The Shaft, Mach Schnell, Hot Shot and Nightmare, although most of the rest are really close behind them. I also really liked Hammerhead's theme because it really resembles Moto Racer 1's music which is as kickass as JM.

I love almost all, if not all, of the JM and JM2 music. It truly is genius, and actually feels as if they probably tried out the game and saw how awesome it was as an inspiration. The only song I liked/even remembered from JM3 when I was a kid is the Devil's Canyon's theme, which was actually made by Juno Reactor. The rest seem kind of bland, but that's not really meant to be an insult to the music team, they did fine, they just had a predecessor they had to live up to that they couldn't, and neither could anybody. I don't really regard JM3 as a JM game, it's wonderful in it's own right, and has awesome physics, great speed, good tracks and everything, it's just weird that it's part of the JM franchise, because it feels nothing like 1 and 2. It's comparable to Twisted Metal 4 in this right I suppose, as TM4 is great, definitely playable, good cars, fuckin Rob Zombie as a playable character, all that good stuff, It's just nothing like TM, and feels like a ripoff, although ripoff is a bit harsh, more like "clone". It's kinda odd that both TM and JM got taken away from singletrac after the second game, each has one game made by someone else that's decent, but doesn't feel like a game from the original franchise, and TM2's holland level has the music from Suicide Swamp. JM1 and TM2 also came out on the same day. Wow, I just realized that. TM3 is absolute trash tho, I couldn't even play past a few levels without wanting to hurl. TM got several reboots after they got the rights back, and Black was cool, so was Small Brawl (which is my fav TM btw). TM2012 had good gameplay, but the story was atrocious. The game feels unfinished. Even if they released a new JM tho, it'd be on ps4/xbone, and I cannot stand either of those piles of junk, and if it was on PC, the graphics would be super good, and my pc would have a heart attack and die, and that's IF it doesn't suck, so for me JM is dead in terms of new games, but who knows?
