This is kind a weird topic for me to start, seeing as I only barely dabble in the stuff/barely have any need for the results, but I was wondering if anyone had started looking into and ripping the stuff in the game.
Stuff like Models, sound effects, textures, and other such things.
I'm wondering just because that's usually how people stumble across dummied out stuff. They found Super Mario Sunshine models in Super Mario Galaxy by poking around in the files, they found out about Super sonic in Sonic Colors early thanks to people digging around in Sonic Color's files, think what could be uncovered for Jet Moto!
Even if it's nothing, it would still be nice to be able to reference sounds and textures from Jet Moto for stuff.

It would be interesting to see what's in there. I remember hearing about a stadium themed track and a track with cliffs that were eventually taken out.

There's software that can let you see the images and hear the sound files from PS1 games. One's called PSicture and the other is PSound. I'd looked around the games, but there isn't too much to find except textures and in game sounds.
I know there is a winning and losing sound in the first game that wasn't used in game. They also left it on the PC version.

There is a way to rip models from emulators, but I don't remember how and I know it's complex. If I find anything about it I'll let you know.
Edit: Yeah I found it, but you need a XP system or older. The program doesn't work with windows Vista or 7.

Poking around in games is mad fun, bro. How do you think they found the removed level "Stormy Ascent" in the original Crash Bandicoot? A fully-playable beta level removed due to high difficulty.

Have you tried it?
Let me know if you get the gem.

Have you tried it? Let me know if you get the gem. I use my gameshark to access the level. The bonus round was never completed, and if you get all 3 icons, the game craashes. But it was supposed to be the second Cortex key level as well. It was easily the hardest level in the game in my opinion, but dude you CAN get the gem, and I have gotten it through many many tries. I love the first Crash game, 100% is hard to get, but I've done it a few times. This video here proves the statement that you can get the gem, as it was finished to the point of near-release, but only the bonus was removed and Cortex was taken to Jaws of Darkness. Enjoy.

Definitely looks hard, but I still had a lot of trouble with the darkness levels.

Oh no doubt man.....Fumbling In The Dark is a total bitch until you basically memorize it. That's my second-hardest level right behind Stormy Ascent.

Bump.
There has to be something in the Jet Moto games. Even a title to a lost track or something.
Also, there are no gameshark codes for track modifier/character modifier for any of the games. It's entirely possible that even one of the games has something like an unused track/character.
Dicking around with the Mortal Kombat 4 character modifier I found Kitana, and with the stage modifier I found a skull stage.

I don't have means of looking besides Gameshark....so that rules me out. I don't mess with my discs files and all that, I don't have the intelligence to do all that haha. ;D

You could just download a ROM and try deconstructing it.
