I have not posted on a JM2 discuss the track yet, but I had to. This track is absolutely amazing, but there is one problem : It is first on my top 5 most difficult track in the Jet Moto series. I have no problem with Nebulous or any other tracks. This one is especially hard for me.

ok i will take blade hope she is hot to burn faster the fuel and more speed ofc: Whoa, hey now, is someone trying to lay hands on my woman? Haha, jk. Blade's just my favorite character in the whole series, and I never use anyone else in J2. As far as Hot Shot, it's my favorite track in the game. In the top three in terms of difficulty for sure - but that makes it all the more rewarding, yes? Just barely getting around those curves at the end to avoid careening off into the lake always has me gritting my teeth I love the national park setting, I love the erupting geyser, the mineral pools, and the stray buffalo (and the indignant snort when you crash into them)! Also, in my humble opinion, the music is the best track in the game. Better than Slickrock, I said it

I agree that Hot Shot has an awesome soundtrack! But still, I like The Shaft's one better. Also, I really like the design of the track, but not the impossible AIs!

I remember Hot Shot being my worst track because I couldn't get past the curves near the end. But I eventually figured it out and it was one of my easier runs.
The setting is gorgeous! I've said it before I say it again. It's the most beautiful track in the game.

That's true! If an HD remake was a thing, I think Hot Shot would be so beautiful!

I think it is one of the prettiest levels in the game. I would like to see a HD remaster of the level. I enjoyed the music so much I dl'd the mp3.

While I still stand by my stance on it being gorgeous (whether it remains in 32-bit faded glory or in HD), I will admit to having a lot of trouble trying to run through this course at all on a full season. I still can't keep my speed up once I reach the mineral pools, or ascending the switchback hills. My strategy of braking before lifting off usually helps keep me on the ground, but I'm not sure if it's as useful to keeping up overall speed as I think it is. Of course, the whole track is a mess of bumps and twists, as beautiful as it may be.

This track was one of my favorites growing up; when i drove through Yellowstone and mountainous roads in Montana outside Yellowstone for the first time, this track was all I could think of (honestly made the trip a lot more fun). The low res 32-bit graphics really does give this level it's charm.
