Pretty good. The Champaign stream looks a little weird, but besides that it's really good. You keep practicing and you'll knock out your little kinks and you'll be as good as the guy who drew for Jetmoto. (Can't remember his name off the top of my head.)

(Can't remember his name off the top of my head.) yeah is it where it clashes with her arm? it's suppose to be like that from what i could make sense of it so it could have that sort of glassy effect i guess i should have shaded differently that little bit of purple(there's a black line that follows the shape of the stream where it looks "weird" but inside it's colored purple, so maybe that's throwing you off)- and i actually realize that it wasn't some sort of futuristic glasses the crew member was wearing but Champagne running down his face- the part where i really put the most attention to detail was her face that was the most important part for me. but overall i give myself about a 8.6 out of 10, that feels about right

Okay then... =] I made them just with a ordinary pencil and then coloured them with color pencils. Nothing complex or professional here. 2010 Amaterasu (from Okami). Strange paws. 2011 It's-a-me. . . Well, at least it was suposed to be. LOL 2012 Gillian (from Snatcher). The face looks long and strange. 2012 Johnathan (from Policenauts). Same as above. 2012 Solid Snake (from MGS) The scanner made them lose some quality. They look a little less bad in reality. XD --- Isn't there a " " bbcode in this forum? Sometimes it feels strange to throw big images in a post, so a spoiler would be really useful. =]

Keep at it i like the snatcher and policenauts pictures the most- The way i try to guide myself when drawing a picture is seeing the proportion of things- for instance a simple example would be like in the drawing of Solid Snake when drawing i'd look at the length of each arm where exactly they end and compare it to the picture i'm copying from and see if it makes sense, sometimes you will have to slightly change your own picture because either you can't make out what something is, you drew something slightly different and you just have to roll with it, or it's just not there and you have to make it up. Always be comparing one thing to another- look at one line and look at another, does it match? when it comes to coloring in the case of the Wild Ride picture I boldly color in the color that's behind Everything- like the purple- i just did one coat of paint without any Real finesse i just colored it all in- and then i added the shading with colored pencils- two different kinds of purple and a black one- you'd be suprised how much a black colored pencil can improve a drawing. it's like one of the main principles in painting you start from the Very back of the painting and then you work your way up. think of it like a pyramid the back of the painting being the base of the the pyramid and the higher you go is all the detail that gradually is being added. but anyway keep at it Auri

when coloring in animated things like the metal gear picture use a black colored pencil,pen, or sharpie for the lines after you have drawn everthing in pencil, that's what i did for Wild Ride, it makes it pop more

I like the Okami one too but like you said it's the paws, and yes hands are difficult to draw but when your drawing just look at your own hands and it'll help. Is that really a self portrait of you? if it is we'd look related haha except my face is longer and i have bangs oh and hey Auri have you ever heard of the band agent steel? the lead singer is Brazilian born and he's one my favorite singers cause he sounds so different from everyone

@ Steve , thanks for the tips man... I'm gonna try them in my next drawings =]
Yeah, it is a self-portrait, but maybe it is not so similiar to me, as far as my drawing skills go, hehe... and now I have short/medium hair and some beard on the neck. I had to cut my hair because every damn people were saying shit like "oh, sorry, I thought that you were a girl", and it was always looking messed up, especially the bangs... =[ I kinda liked it though. One day I woke up, combed the bangs to the back, looked at the mirror and drawed myself, because I had nothing to do... =P
I haven't heard about Agent Steel yet, but I'm gonna check it. Something that gets on my nerves is that most famous singers/bands in Brazil are utter shit, and also the way brazillians worship dumb soccer players. Have you heard about "Michel Teló", "Mr. Catra", "Restart" or any of these shit? You're a happy man if you still didn't.
Some good brazillian singers and bands I know are "Raul Seixas", "Angra", "Jorge Ben Jor", "Engenheiros do Hawaii", "Legião Urbana", "Ultraje a Rigor", "Titãs", "Mamonas Assassinas", "Raimundos", and "Sepultura". Maybe I've forgot about others.
Wikipedia says that John Cyriis' birth name may be either João Campos or Jean Pierre. It is probably João Campos, because it is a common name in Brazil, while Jean Pierre is french. =]

@auri- your welcome
yeah i only got a little bit of a hard time for having long hair but i've had it long for around 5 years now- i like, just sometimes, when i'm at home putting it all to one side i feel like i should be in Castlevania when i do haha cause it looks all royal haha
yeah Agent steel i consider more American though- i like the whole outer space/alien theme they got going on "Ball of fire, object of light- metallic disc hovering low- .... too late for you! Indestrucive! they're coming from space Indestructive! they cant be destroyed Indestrucive! they're faster than Light WE Haven't much Tiiiiiiime!
no in america soccer isn't that big and if people are into soccer it's usually the European leagues of England,Spain, and Italy
i havent heard of those bands but Sepultura and yeah in the liner notes it said his Name was John Camps it probably is joao campos
how do you pronounce the a in joao?

@steve, LOL, Castlevania's long-haired characters are really awesome. =D
Ah yes, the band is american, but only the lead singer is brazillian-born. Now I get it. =]
That's good. Soccer worshiping is something REALLY annoying, and Brazil is full of that. =/
It's hard to explain... =S but it's almost like "jo-ahn-o", while not letting the "n" and the "o" sound like "no"

is the "j" pronounced like a "ha"? so it's not like "juano" right? i find it hard not saying "no"
