Thinking about getting Mortal Kombat mythologies. What's you're opinions on that?
(Fixed because phones and ipods were NOT made for posting on fourms)

I hear it was an okay beat-em-up, but I watched a speedrun of it and ended up falling asleep in my chair. No bullshit, I FELL ASLEEP. It looks like it'd be fun to play but it's boring to watch.
I'm planning to buy an X-Box for Generations and some other stuff, so I thought I'd post up my To Buy list.
=X-Box360= -Sonic Generations -Sonic Unleashed -Mirrors Edge -Banjo Kazooie: Nuts And Bolts -One of the Portals -Sonic 2K6 -Sonic & Sega Allstars Racing(For Banjo and Metal Sonic) -Mortal Kombat 9
+Wii+ -Sonic And The Black Knight -Super Mario Galaxy 2 -Mario Kart Wii -Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz(AWESOME MUSIC!) -Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity(I have it already, but I want to get the higher quality version) -WarioWare: Smooth Moves
_X-Box_ -Jet Set Radio Future -One of the Dead Or Alives -Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex(For the fur)
Any other suggestions?

Recently found a mom and pop video game store near me.
I recently bought Ace Combat 2 ps1 , Ridge Racer Revolution ps1, (no book sadly), Kengo Master Of Bushido Ps2 (love this game. Wish we would of got number 2) And Perfect Dark Zero.
I Also bought a grab bag for the hell of it. The games I got in this grab bag were,
Splash Down,SSX,Dragon Quest 7, Smackdown VS Raw 06 And Madden 07.
Out of all of those the only game I don't like is Madden.
To a total of $17. Great eh?

Nice. I recently got some games too at a local VG store by my college. MVP Baseball 2005 for PS2 (already have the GCN one but got it for the heck of it), MVP07: NCAA Baseball, and Twisted Metal 1. Yeah first time getting TM1 woot. MVP07 is nice but the new pitching/throwing/batting mechanic is hard to master. All three for 10 bucks. I got MVP07 for 2, MVP05 for 1, and TM for 6. Weird how the TM was the most expensive but honestly to me it balances out for the other games I would have gladly paid a little more for. At a Gamestop by the college I saw MVP06 for 1.75, Risk: Global Domination for 6 and MVP 2003 for 14. Contemplating Risk since I played it with a friend and enjoyed the hell out of it. 14 for MVP03 is way too much, but I wanna complete the collection. MVP06 seems like a steal too but I read that 07 has better features than it. Once again I wanna complete the collection. Oh and guess what, a thrift store nearby is gonna be bringing in a lot more games in the coming month. I was speaking with the guys there and they got a guy coming in with a bunch. There I already saw Triple Play 97 (double disk) and MLB 98 for 2 bucks each. I'm thinking of getting them too. I buy too many baseball games. It's becoming a problem.

Dang it CaMac. My store didn't have Twisted Metal 1. They did have 2, but I felt it was over priced so I didn't buy it. I buy too many games period. My girlfriend says it's a problem.

Twisted Metal 1. Yeah first time getting TM1 woot. Longbox or jewel case? Black label or GH? The longbox is selling for $30 compelete now due to the new game coming out (my best guess).

Just the CD. Here is the funny thing about the shop I went to. Almost all the older games have printed out covers. I have like 3 games from them, TMB, MVP07 and MVP05 with printed out covers. Not even good quality LOL. All of the old games are in the back to boot. I'm probably the only one that goes straight to the back.

Good find on all three of those. I tired playing Fire Pro Wrestling before it was hard to get use to with the 2D+3D environment. And watch out. Last Raven is a hard game.

You're telling me. I did a test of the first mission (still haven't started playing serious yet), and I got my butt whooped. Then again it is probably because I haven't played AC3 in a while. But yeah, something is telling me this is gonna be a tough one.

Issue with last raven is it is the hardest in the series. It was made to be followed up with nine breaker. Which was pretty much just Arena/ Training mini-game missions.
I had a particular mission I did on Last Raven. I don't remember the name of it, but I had major trouble with that mission. I had to fight A Raven with a Reverse Joint frame.
My first few tries were in vain. This game will take a lot of trial and error building unless you import a build you proved with nexus or Nine-breaker.
Anyway, once I had a build I was happy with and could use to the best of my skill, I beat the Reverse Join AC. Only to have a QUAD come out of no where with a bullet hell setup.
God. I never beat that mission. There are various endings and the only way I beat it was by avoiding most of the AC to AC combats. To get the best ending you have to fight every single AC opponent and win.
Though I understand building and the concept behind AC a lot more now. Still working my way up to trying and beat Last Raven. I started a Year ago or a little more. I'm going to play from the first game all the way to last raven. Importing my AC into the next game as far as I can and improving it as I go.
Though I can't continue until I get my hands on project phantasma and get my playstation back.
Which I recommend Project Phantasma. For it's time it has a good storyline. Yeah a actual storyline. Not just a massive event with missions taking place in it.

brutalknuckles TM4 was the first I owned. I love that game dispute its flaws. I played it to death. Adonael Yeah that is the same I want to do. Start from the beginning. I really want to get the rest of the games before I play LR (now that I'm told it is like uber hard). I wanna be ready. I want to play AC:PP so badly. I never found it (though haven't been looking real hard). I also want to replace my MoA. The game was terribly damaged (had to turn my PS1 sideways for things to load LOL). I still got 99% out of it (Patience!). The 2nd disc never loads too. =P Oh gamers and our never-ending need for completionism. (Gotta get that coin!)
