Finally got it! There doesn't seem to be anything different, but just to be sure, I'll upload the ISO!

Apparently it's exactly the same build as the regular PAL version. It's strange though, the PAL version came out on February 1st 1998, yet this build of the game is from the 18th of November 1997. It took them nearly three months to put it on shelves after the PAL version was done.

I think final builds used to be about 2 months before the release date. Then they would print out the cases and discs and stuff to have them ready for launch day. That way magazines could probably have a review out in time too.

Many games have been rushed and released glitchy or incomplete, yet they only hit the shelves 3 months after the game has been finished? It sounds very inefficient to me.

Love Steel Reign. Got the game from a retro game store.

Steel reign is in my list of games to get, i just got Armored Core and Man that game's really impressive, i didn't appreciate it that much when i was a kid because i felt it was for older kids but now i totally get it-- I really like the story and i think the game holds up really well the graphics and sound effects are Still cool to look at and hear, i remember really feeling the impact of the action when i first played it because of the great sound effects- Steel reign was in that same demo disc i had with armored core, i remember liking AC more but i think now i'll be able to better appreciate Steel Reign
