Oh, by the way, I'm removing Sequoia Forest from the game. I always thought it was the worst track in the entire Jet Moto history and I'm gonna replace it with a retexture of another track.

Control scheme 3 seems to be the most workable on a psp. I played through sky park. The nightmare reskin is pretty nice. I wonder what other retro levels you have planned. I like that you didnt change the layout so it's like playing a better version of Jet Moto 3. I hope you don't change the level layout. I also saw what you meant about needing the hop button. I started learning how to use it. I can't wait till you make it more and more like JM 1 and 2.
Also there was a issue when I was cycling through characters. one of the character portraits was blank and I had to move off it. I don't know if it's just one but I had to move in the other direction back to the max.

I hope you don't change the level layout. I can't. I can only edit physics, textures and some text. one of the character portraits was blank and I had to move off it. I don't know if it's just one but I had to move in the other direction back to the max. It's just experimental hex editing and video swapping. Don't worry about it, it's normal, it won't be like that in the official release.

And I don't know how to do the unlock everything cheat cause gamefaqs don't say where to do it. I can't check, but was the textures for one of the secret characters blanked out or something? I guess I have to wait till you finish the hack more before I submit JM3 origins. If you get time you should finish up the features so I can submit the hack.

And for the moment, turning is still fast as hell. I'll have to work on making it slower, so this first version isn't the last. By the way, I think I'm going to work on it right now, I'm getting that urge again.

A big problem with the mod right now is that the bikes are still way too easy to turn and the lighter bikes are way too god damn slow compared to the heavier bikes, I'm gonna work on fixing that today.

I don't mind the other changes but on that other website it could look incomplete. I can't remember but I think it almost crashes when all the characters are enabled. Which would make the hack look broken.

I'm probably going to remove the "lift" value, which causes your bike to bounce off the terrain everywhere, I tested it and so far I love it. But here's a very important question I'd like to ask you: Should I remove the hop? Because I very well could, and I'm not sure if I should. The hop is a huge advantage for people who know how to use it, even in JM3 Origins, and I think it'd spice up the gameplay a bit if I removed it. What do you think?

LOL I just found out that the "edging" value was way too high for the heavier bikes. If you boosted and let go of the throttle, the bike would just continue going at top speed until you turned too much or hit a bump lmao, this'll be fixed in the next update.

Don't the single turn buttons combine the two turns instead of using just the one turn? Apparently, the default control scheme doesn't put the tight turning button on the regular turning buttons. They're completely different, so the second control scheme actually does turn more than the default one, I guess we learn something new everyday!

By the way, even though I'm going for a classic Jet Moto feel, I'm also getting inspiration from 2124. For example, I'm pretty sure there's going to be much more turbo than in the original JM3.

I found an awesome tool for converting XA audio from and to the XA files called XA Audio Converter. Sadly, for some reason, it can only read the first 30 seconds of JM3's music tracks, so I can't replace them completely, I'm really mad now, I'm so close to being able to do it!

I was able to rip the music from Jet Moto 3 if anyone wants the music. Weird thing is the program I used found over a 100 XA files that were 1 second long.

What I think is happening in my case is that the way I extract the XA file from the ISO doesn't do it properly, it cuts the file and render a part of the music unreadable. How do you extract the XA files?
