Excellent find! The ATLAN_2 is so much better. I wonder why they decided to get rid of it. As for making more space, you can't really add anything as it changes the size of the original file. I've tried to squeeze X-PUZZLE in and the level freezes when loading.

It seems that when changing the X_TEST that is with the other names and loading the A value with the code, it always loads the test level... WICH MEANS the test level could be anything else... Considering X_TEST freezes when you load it by replacing another track's name too... Maybe the test level we got isn't even X_TEST at all!

Yeah, I noticed that. You could be right, although the the name certainly fits the level. I also noticed some other possible level names: FRNT_END, CRYS_COM, X_PUZZLE and CREST_RA. Are these the ones you were trying to fit into the menu, but lacked the extra space? I've tried changing the level and individual file names, but they do not seem to want to load.
On another topic, has anyone managed to change the textures on either the bikes or the riders? I've tried with the relevant TIM files, but no luck.

Some of them have too small names and others got too big names... I might try to modify the textures of the bikes... If the texture is in the same size, it should work!

The actual options might be listed just above the level menu with X_Test, Pacific and whatever. It includes male and female riders, as well as light, medium and heavy bikes. Sure enough, there are files in the game's archives for some of these. Don't know how to get it working, though.

Have you got it set to a case sensitive search? It's CustomBike in the coding, so the capitals may not show up. The hex address is 1E7B516. The bike and rider options are at 13392C.

I don't know if you saw it but... here is the Neo Rio trophy : There's also a similar trophy for Europa. And a big SS and SC trophy exists. I don't know what would be the use to these though.

You know when you have to replace CREST_RA by CRYS_COM? Actually, they are both tracks! CREST_RA is incomplete, so it dosen't work! I tried to fit CRYS_COM in the regular track list... And it worked!!! CRYS_COM is the test track!

X_PUZZLE almost loads but it's incomplete... CREST_RA, X_TEST, NEORIO and FRNTEND are incomplete and unplayable. There, we got it, I tested every single track possible and they're all incomplete... Unless we find a way to replace the missing files, we can't play them.

This is pretty intense...Great finds fellas. I know nothing about this hex editing stuff, so I never would ahve found anything like this. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even be able to play Atlantis II with my limited knowledge haha!

I could've find it sometime, but not that early. All that because I was using a cap sensitive search! Well we made both our parts. He pretty much found everything and I found a way to explain these things. Thank's dude!

Cheers! Enigma, you found the levels that worked, not to mention their real names.
Anyhow, here's some more stuff to muck about with. I noticed that the Character Select and Level Select codes were in the same area of the game's coding, so I looked at some other values and found:
0x00010039 - Player 2 moto select for a vertical split screen race (values 0-9)
0x0001003A - Number of laps (tried 95 laps, but that didn't work, so there's an upper limit)
0x0001003B - Number of opponents (maximum of 7)
0x00010040 - Character Select code. The value of 12 (hex) or 19 (dec) gives you an outline of a rider at the start of the race, but once you go through any shadows, the rider and moto turn black with blue neon lines, like some kind of lightcycle out of Tron: Legacy.
0x00010012 - Mode Select: demo (05), time trial (02), stunt competition (03), stunt practice (05), season (0). I thought that one of the modes doesn't work in the game, so it may be accessible via this code.

AWESOME!!! The DEMO mode works in the levels that has working AIs! The character moves! It's so cool, we can see how th AIs work! I looked in Berlin and Moon, in wich the AIs are fucked up... And in Berlin, it looks like they follow a track path! With jumps and turns! That's awesome!
