I'm on a level creating spree in UE4! I got the whole Island track layout and texturing done, I just have to add foliage and the floating pieces and finally, the water.

Pretty cool Enigma! yeah i'm making progress on my front too i'm seeing how i can use the inks to make the realest images i can do, it's coming up a step above or around the style that Critical depth had, so yeah it's way funner than acrylics and i can use a bit of color pencil too so yeah One day i'll make those Galaxy images

That's really nice and yeah me too i like to see evidence of civilzation too, picturesque as they say in the art world, now that i see more of what the look of the game is gonna be, i think the realistic approach to the art is gonna look better, plus i feel it showcases my ability more in that art style, It's gonna be Awesome haha!

I thought of doing that, but I'd miss the old character names and I wouldn't be able to make any old tracks. Basically, I make a whole new game with zero association with the old ones, or I make a new one with all the old tracks. It is very sad that my efforts won't pay (literally) off in that manner, but it will be a nice accomplishment.

Freaking UE4's blueprints system is all fucked up since the 4.10 update! D: I'm trying to make the Hoverbike actually hover, but it always gives out errors that shouldn't be there.

Could always short cut invisible wheels. Lol. People do that as gta saAndreas "hover car" mods.

What usually makes the vehicle move forward is a force applied on the car itself, rather than wheels turning and making the car go forward (which is harder to do). Technically, the wheels are just there for aesthetics and the car is a hovering vehicle. So I'm kinda doing the same thing, but with no visible wheels, problem is, I can't seem to make anything work because I can't reference the object I wanna move.

Depends on the game and the physics applied. Some games have a thing called a tire model that simulates tire grip/ware but that's mainly simulation standards not arcade games.
That is why in a badly done game though cars don't touch the floor.
Also if you used this technique it wouldn't feel like a hovering vehicle it would feel more like a road car. Which jetmoto uses pretty realistic motorcycle physics For the time.
