UNUSED TRACKS
X Test
A test track located in the game's files. Nothing else is known about this at this time.
Atlantis I
Originally, the Atlantis track was quite different from the one used in the final game. However, it was scrapped because it was too difficult to be used as the first track in the game as intended.
Possible track layout
Neo Rio
An unfinished track located in the game's files. Nothing else is known about this at this time.
Pacific
An unfinished track located in the game's files. Nothing else is known about this at this time.
Unused Images
-There is an unused HUD display of the Monolith track. (Image)
-There are art assets for a wide variety of unused menus, dating back to the JM2125 build of the game.
-There are images of A test from Jet Moto 2, Wild Ride in Atlantis, and a wide shot of Atlantis.
XVI: BUGS/GLITCHES
-The results screen is either bugged or nonexistant. The game will crash at the end of a race unless the player quits from the pause menu. Season mode is also pointless because of this.
-Hellbound's character select video is not in the correct video format. The game will lock up if the player does not choose him before his video loads. After approximately 9 minutes, the game will unfreeze and flip through the character select videos for Bomber, C4, Dancer, The Maxx, and Mortician.
-The game crashes if the player chooses Atlantis in Time Trial mode.
-Racer AI is completely nonexistant on Atlantis, Europa, Phobos, Nexus, Mercury, and Monolith.
-Racer AI has wonky pathfinding on Moon and Berlin.
-Player 2 will experience pop-out from textures and background in 2P Mode on emulation.
-Moon, Phobos, Berlin and Mercury have moderate to severe clipping issues with walls.
-Europa's waterfall checkpoint is floating several meters in front of where it should be physically. It's fairly difficult to reach without a light bike.
-On the Moon, the teleporter at the first suicide turn will skip over one of the checkpoints if used.
-On Phobos, there are no respawn points on the last 2 checkpoints before the first suicide turn. If the player falls off, they will most likely have to redo this section of the track to count the lap.
-The track preview screen does not display the correct layout for any tracks except Atlantis and Europa.
-The in-game map display will always show Europa's layout, no matter which track is chosen.
-The powerups on Phobos do not align properly with the track. They are located underneath the track.
