As we all know, Jet Moto 3 is very different from Jet Moto 2 and Jet Moto 1. As the world's best JM3 racer, I gathered the most useful tips and advices for you guys!
- While in JM2, getting air screwed you up and ruined the whole race, JM3 is quite different. In fact, getting air is most certainly a mandatory thing to do in order to win races. In many tracks, there are places where you have to zigzag through paths, like in Devil's Canyon's rock shortcut at the beginning. There is a way to ride on walls and jump through the whole thing, saving an insane amount of time.
- Boost-Hopping is the most basic skill you gotta have. Boost-Hopping is simple, you gotta boost, then hop. A good example of mandatory Boost-Hopping is in Machu Picchu, at the end, if you Boost-Hop the part that descends, you can skip to the start and save an insane amount of time. I've stolen many first places by performing this technique.
- Riding on walls. This one is tricky because you don't need to use it everywhere, in fact, it might just be flat out wrong to do it sometimes. Though, in Catacombs, after you get past the 180 turn at the beginning, you get into a tunnel. If you go on the right wall and keep boosting, you will not need to turn at all, saving time and keeping a constant speed.
- Grappling. Grapples are the most useful thing in JM3, they can provide shortcuts and help you perform turns. Like in Catacombs, right before entering in the 180 turn at the beginning, there is a bump that you can Boost-Hop on and use a hidden grapple to swing you directly to the checkpoint! Also, in Devil's Canyon, just before the last 180 turn, there is a bump. If you Boost-Hop onto it and use the grapple, you'll be able to do some tricks and gain speed AND turbo!
Stunts. Stunting is THE MANDATORY THING TO DO, EVERYWHERE. Literally, you HAVE to stunt everywhere you can, it replenishes your turbo and doesn't affect your bike's flight! Every single Boost-Jump should be followed by at least on stunt. The fastest and most replenishing stunt is the one I always do : Hold the D-Pad's down and left arrows at the same time and the L1 button, it'll make you do a side-back-flip. ALWAYS do this in the air, it allows you to have more turbo that you can use to go fast.
