Yeah, go ahead. I'm sure he won't mind.
I wonder, once this comes out, how long will it take before we see hacks of it?
It would be pretty cool if a group of people stepped forward and finished it. Of course, I don't think this will happen anytime soon.

Just don't LEAK it, bro. Make it a password required file to access....and give it the guys like us who care about the game, not just some random bozo who's gonna leak it on every torrent site in the world. I work the same way with music....I have MANY unreleased, highly sought after, underground band demos that i aquired after talking to members of the band who sent them to me....I'd never leak em, would ruin the fun of getting them.

I'd really love to take it for a whirl and see what, if any, music they had in it. I'm really curious about that Grapple Slingshot mechanic.
I'm sorry I can't be of any help. This ISO ripping stuff goes right over my head.

So what's going on with 2124?

He fell off of the face of the earth.
It's a curse. He who unlocks the mysterious powers of this Jeto Motou! game will vanish, never to reveal the secrets stored within.

I have no interest in contacting the guy for a copy of the game anymore. After playing JM3 I have very little confidence in 2124 - dunno what's going on with Aaron. But guys, it's not that hard to find the email address and send this person an email yourselves.

Uhh, 2124 was created by an entirely different team than JM3. They mentioned something about the playstyle being similar to the earlier games I think.

Thanks, guys. I sent him the email, looking forward to a reply. I'll keep you all posted on what's going on. I got a buddy who knows this coding business real well, he may be able to help me....but you guys are going to have to inform me what needs to be worked on.

It would be really cool if it was possible to finish the game through hacks alone.
Of course, there is no source code so...

Got in touch with Chris and he said he'd be glad to send me a copy as soon as he fixes his main computer in order to copy the disc. It's not going to be right away, but I'll have a copy soon enough. Personally, I don't know crap about hacks, coding, etc....but I got a buddy or two that may. We'll see what we can do from there.

Awesome to see that the hope of 2124 isn't dead. As finishing it with hacks, that wouldn't be possible seeing hacks just modify whats already coded, and as finishing it goes you'd need a psone development kit.

Net Yaroze ......it may be dead, but it's still playable as is. And it's just a part of history. You're right, hacks are impossible, and with no source we got nothing....but it's still cool to see IF we could do anything to improve it. Think positive, brutha!
