Awesome track. Second only to Nightmare in my opinion.
The music helps.

I like this track quite a bit if I can get into the flow of it. Only part I really don't like too much is the part with the constant hill climbs but that's nothing a boost can't fix.

The only thing I really dislike about this track is the point where it begins to spiral upwards, and there's that small gap with the glitchy wall on the right that's easy to get stuck on. You know the one.

There's a few parts of Willpower with bad edging....right before the "decapitation tunnel" at the start on the right hand side...and at the end on the right hand turn at the top of the hill is just oen big edging nightmare. And there's a instant fall-spot right near the first large hill after the decapitation tunnel on the left wall.

Jet Moto was well-known for its dodgy collision detection. I remember one time falling in the trees on Cliffdiver.

Yeah I have mixed feelings about this track. It's very unique but like skizzo said the length can get to ya...especially on JM2. Favorite part is probably the grapple U turns towards the end. Hittin a turbo through there can send you flying off the cliff but if you time the grapple right it's just awesome, mad speed. And the soundtrack is dirty.

I also think this track is unique amongst the Jet Moto 1 tracks because it's not the fastest driver who wins, but the smartest.

I like it because it's less about speed and more about navigating the track. It's far too long/tedious for a racing game though, IMO, especially compared to other tracks. While it's not the longest, it just seems to drag on.
And other people have mentioned the collision detection and the "decapitation tunnel". LOL, that's funny, I've never heard it referred to as such, but it totally makes sense.
But I LOVE the music on this stage.

Welcome back, Aaron!
Also, the length never really bothered me that much, although I get why some people get bored with this stage. After playing Rainbow Road and a NASCAR oval for 300 laps, I really have no problem with tracks that are slightly long.

After playing Rainbow Road and a NASCAR oval for 300 laps, I really have no problem with tracks that are slightly long. Thanks for the warm welcome. Good to be back. Rainbow Road, though, is eye-candy! And just never stops being fun to look at. Willpower doesn't have that going for it. And I could never play a NASCAR game. I'd be way too board, way too fast. I don't mind watching it on TV, with family. Because family (uncles and cousins) watchin' with good food, and fun, and waiting on the wreckage is just good times. But I couldn't play it.

I was only six at the time, and it was the first and last time I ever played a NASCAR game.
What's the point of racing when all of the tracks are just slightly different-looking ovals?

Length is not much of a problem for me, either. I also enjoy the music playing in the background (if only the music looped for whichever track it plays for). The only NASCAR game I ever play is NASCAR Rumble. I cannot resist the tornado, the hammer, the boost (which can sometimes make things funny as all hell) and the commentary by Jess Harnell. Anyways, I actually practice on Willpower once in a while.
...Damn the "decapitation tunnel."

Hmm...I guess I'm somewhat of a hypocrite because I love NASCAR and almost never get bored watching or playing it. I guess the length of Willpower is an issue because it's just a different style racing. It should be fast paced and quick but it drags out a little after 2 laps, and the AI aint a challenge to keep you busy really. But playing NASCAR my minds always occupied with something regarding the race, even if it is 100+ laps.
