One of my favorite tracks. I really love the environment. Anyone ever use the shortcut regularly?

This track rules, even though I don't at JM2. As stated above...the shortcut really isn't much of a shortcut. I think of it more as a secret than a shortcut, honestly.

My favorite track in all of Jet Moto I think. For one, it has the most rockin soundtrack of many rockin soundtracks in the game...IMO. But it's also a constant challenge for me as far as trying to get the fastest possible time is concerned. It's amazing the little things that can cost you half a second or more. And I still can't beat this on Insane (original copy anyway, CE's a joke as far as AI goes). BTW CE is insane in itself. So much fun handling all that speed. I got a vid for this track but the quality aint great due to my temporary tv situation so I haven't bothered uploading it. But I think those bikes can do about 1:50 around this joint...ridiculous.

Oh yeah there is a secret drawing behind one of the waterfalls in this track. It looks like something out of Native American drawings.

Yep, its right when you drop off into the water for the first time. Turn around after the huge waterfall and take a gander =P.

I completely agree, it's one of my definite favorites, and the theme is pretty badass, although it ties with Hammerhead IMO. Nevertheless, the track is a good one to start with and practice on. That "shortcut," however, I only used once, and never actually thought of it as a shortcut either. But it is fun to boost on the rock to get some air to properly ride through the hole, lol.

When I first played the game, I found out about the shortcut completely by accident after attempting (and succeeding) at glitching my way up the waterfall and riding through it the wrong way.

Wow, never knew about that alternate path before. Use the rock to jump through the hole. Interesting.
Also, this level is cool, one of my favorites just because of how intense the race feels on the Master or Insane difficulty.
Now, I read somewhere around here that somebody can get through this track in 2:29.5 using The Max. Now assuming that to be a three-lap run, that is ridiculous. I don't think I ever beat 2:45

That's pretty impressive. I'm currently in the process of trying to unlock the entire trophy case. I just got 2:40.1 using Gadget. That's the fastest I've ever finished SlickRock Gorge.
