LOL. I think I'm gonna have to issue a new ruling regarding how to obtain a copy of JM PC. What do you guys feel? well i did see like a few copies on amazon, but i just recently went ahead and bought, wait for it....... a gamecube! and i still need to at least get a game for it, i really want to get that Zelda Collection with the very first one, link to the past, ocarina of time, and Majora's Mask, i really want to see what the big deal is and that one's not cheap.

LOL. I think I'm gonna have to issue a new ruling regarding how to obtain a copy of JM PC. What do you guys feel? There are abandonware websites with Jet Moto on it, but anyway you look at it, it is a shady ordeal that can get you in a crap ton of trouble if your not careful.

I may have found a easier and less complicated way to play Jetmoto on PC together. Don't get your hopes up though, I've gotta do some test runs.
And yeah, it will involve a little port forwarding.

I've been tinkering and I finally got it down to a 95% connection rate without the crash out error. I would post a video but it is me testing it by myself. I may have finally found the answer to all this bull crap. I'm going to do a few more test before I celebrate too much though. ------------------------------- Played a full season against myself, there's only a few minor issues so far. Music doesn't loop, which is no big deal and the two player replay glitches slightly. I'm no longer having any issues connecting to myself, so I may have ironed out the issues. I hope so. ------------------------------- After several hours of testing. Disconnecting and trying several different things I can say I have it as stable as it is going to be. Multiplayer works fine. Since I am connecting VIA an outside server and not VIA lan this same set up should work for us as a whole. The only issues the game have are the two mentioned above and the menu glitch and that is it. All tracks and all characters work. I'm ready to test this to it's full extent if and when anyone is interested. The best part about the new set up is it is a ONE time setup which will include a lobby in a program so no fumbling with IPs or using that god awful hamachi. Haha. It was great for it's time but now there are better solutions.

So you got the pc port working on modern machines then. That's pretty neat.

Back when we first did this we kept having an unexplained error during ONLINE gameplay. At first when running this new system I had the same error, but I finally sat down for about 6-7 hours and got it working properly with ONLINE. I'll write a guide like I did with Hamachi, eventually, but I work a few 10 hour days so it will be a little before so.
Hamachi also was an ok program for what it did. There is better and more stable programs that actually have a party/lobby like system which will simplify things 10 fold.
I do want to do a test run with someone else though to just make sure it all works 100% for everyone.

This is awesome, we're finally gonna be able to play multiplayer. It's sad that it's only 2 players though, it would be awesome to organize a championship with everyone on JMC.

PC supports 14 players I believe. I'll have to check my box again. --------------------------- Sorry phone is a POS. 14 players clear as day. It would give me a chance to do challenges and tournaments with you all If this will work for all of us.

The only thing that is unfortunate is that the game's resolution is capped at 640x480. People have been able to unlock Twisted Metal PC's resolution though, so maybe we'll be able to in the future as well.
