When I try to install anything on my PC that has anything to do with direct X, (I.E. Games programs Etc etc) My windows tells me it's not verified by windows and windows will not install the program. This is a problem mainly because some software requires a mandatory DX install or check, which in turn causes the windows alert to go off and close the program.
Either my computer has became self aware (lol) Or something odd is happening and I don't know what is causing it.

I think I figured it out. Resent spyware scan came up with this:
Virtumonde.sci is another Virtumonde variant, it installs in background, registers itself to the Winlogon and as a Browser Helper Object (BHO). It also attaches itself to the explorer which can cause system instability.
But just in case, I run windows XP.

Did some research, what version of DirectX do you have? There might be an issue with newer DX and old XP. Which might mean that there is a newer verification in DX that XP can't recognize.
Take care of that Trojan too.
