There's a classic arcade superbike and motocross game called Moto Racer, I love it as much as Jet Moto. I used to play it all the time when I was younger! Just today, I found out some cheat codes... There's a night mode, something that isn't unlockable normally! But the most interesting thing I found... OMG!! There's a "Future mode" that replaces motocrosses with hover boards... AND SUPERBIKES WITH HOVERBIKES!!! It's a dream come true, Moto Racer and Jet Moto together!! The official description for the code is "Enables Jet Moto vehicle in Superbike mode and surfboards in Dirt Bike mode." so YEAH! It WAS inspired by Jet Moto!! Well, it is only on the PS1 version and it came out in 1997, in the year AFTER JM1, so I really think this is awesome! Here's a video I made to prove it : My best run on Fun Fair (day mode) : Fun Fair at night :

Hey if anyone is interested to compete, I'd post a record thread, so we could compete against each other in this Jet Moto mode! I think it'd be cool!

This is pretty sick. I was quite surprised seeing this vehicle reach over 300 mph but the music is quite close related to Jet Moto. I love it. I might as well try this game out myself if I get it to work on my PC. I remembered seeing a trailer of it's sequel that was included in my Need For Speed III Hot Pursuit game. I believe you could made your own track, it looked pretty neat on the video. Maybe trying this one as well And I also just might have played the DS version of the game...

Yeah, I know, the music is awesome! But the second game isn't nearly as good as the first, the tracks aren't unique, they're just randomized paths on the same background... Even the "make your own track" thing doesn't offers much, I tried to make a Moto racer 1 track on that (with MR2 background), but the track editor wouldn't allow turns too narrow and hills too high... Anyway, Moto Racer 1 is a lot better than MR2, plus, MR2 doesn't have the hover bikes lol! Also, that was recorded on ePSXe, the PC version's resolution is 640x480 max and it doesn't have the hover bikes. I used ePSXe because I can upscale the game to whatever resolution I want and add shaders&filters.

I also just checked out MRDS videos and, well, it doesn't feel like good old MR1. The tracks still aren't as unique and the grass slows you down... As you can see in my gameplay, the grass doesn't slow you down in MR1.

The hoverbike you're racing in looks like something from Star Wars. o.o
