Hey everyone! CaMacKid told me about this place, so I decided to check it out. Until now I thought I was the only person passionate about Jet Moto. Most of my first gaming memories are from Jet Moto 1 and 2. So to post a little bit about my self, I am a high school grad who is trying to get to music college (Musicians Institute). One of the things I have done is a cover of Nightmare, which can be found on my Soundclick: soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=9211653. Other games I am into are Sonic The Hedgehog (I never want to grow up), Metroid, and "Bethesda" Fallout.

I saw those. Pretty cool! Also, I can tell it is a Kramer neck, but did you make that yourself? I am personally a total gear nut. You can check out my rig here: brutal-knuckles.deviantart.com/gallery/

You're half right there! It's modeled after the '84 Kramer Grim Reaper, to my research only 9 were made, the only other lefty (and the only REAL lefty Reaper) being owned by Nick Bowcott himself of Grim Reaper. I had this replica custom-made by Tony Padilla over at Mutt Guitars, excellent luthier! i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad149/Mcniggleston/Grim Reaper Process/98Complete.jpg[/IMG] As far as Kramer goes....I could tell you just about anything you want to know about em, from start to demise. They're my favorite brand hands down, i own 3 lefties....2 twin '88 XL2's and an '87 Baretta. You got some interesting gear indeed. I'm more a fan of the flashy 80s guitars. anything pointy i can dig haha! A '92 Peavey G-90 is my latest addition.

Pointy guitars are cool, but for me, I have to be able to play both "Icarus Lives!" by Periphery (Math Metal) and "Code Monkey" by Jonathan Coulton (Geek Rock) with the same guitar. That is why I like my Agile Septor 725. Dispite the fact it has Duncan Blackout Pickups, it still can pull off anything.
Speaking of which, let's see it in action...

Glad to see you come by!
Ya know, watching these videos and seeing someone cover it has gotten me listening to the soundtracks again. Seriously the best original rock soundtrack to any game that I've ever played.

What are you recording with? That sounds like some kind of computer equipment based on how clear your distortion is.
I'm using a Crate G-600 through a Boss MT-2, easy as that.

Recording I am using Guitar Rig 4.
For my live set up my signal chain is:
Digitech Whammy 4, Boss V-Wah, Dunlop Crybaby from Hell, Boss DS-1, Digitech Bad Monkey, Ibanez TS9, Boss MT-2, Behringer Bass Chorus, Boss TU-3 Tuner, Digitech RP80, Line 6 Echo Park. The amp is a Crate Powerblock with a Peavey Windsor Cab.
