www.videogamecritic.net/psfl.htmScroll down to his review on the Jet Moto trilogy...not only does it seem like he doesn't know how to play the damn games...but HE THINKS THE THIRD WAS THE BEST!? I mean I'll admit I don't really care at all for JM2 and JM3...but they were still great games, very innovative, and at least a B for both...but F and D+? This guy is off his rocker... Also..take a look at his Legend of Dragoon review...the guy has to be on drugs...Legend of Dragoon is the most innovative and deep RPG I've ever played (dare i say...it makes FF7 look like a kids toy), and my #2 fav PS1 game. The guy has to be snorting coke and doing these reviews...cause he obviously don't know how to play them when he reviews them.

I was waiting for a moment to use this and here it is: Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this guy doesn't know what hes talking about. He said that 1 and 2 have horrible controls. Thats laughable.

Wow. Never thought I'd see the day Hooters: Road Trip got a better score than Jet Moto. Hell, I'd say he's on drugs just for not giving H:RT and F-. Seriously.
Usually I don't consider people 'wrong' when expressing an opinion. However, he doesn't make a good case for any of his gripes. HOW is the grapple one of the 'worst ideas ever conceived for a racing game?' Why is it a bad thing that there are obstacles(maybe he should stick to 1/4 mile drag races)? How is the control scheme idiotic?
I think this guy had loads of expectations for the game and decided it was the game's problem when it didn't meet them. He even states it in the beginning when he talks about Wave Race. It's a shame. Hooters: Road Trip? This guy needs to stop rating games with his penis.

Are you serious?
This guy doesn't understand the concept of "closed circuits" and prefers all of the really wide tracks simply because the other ones were too hard for him. Bad contral scheme? PFFFFT.
If I didn't know any better, I'd think that the Irate Gamer was reviewing this.

I can't believe he gave WWF War Zone a C. That game is one of the worst wrestling games on the PSX. WCW vs. The World & WCW vs. NWO: World Tour smoked that game. But really all the good wrestling games were on the N64.
Oh and it's Lost CITY not RUINS. Though I have to admit, JM3 scenery was pretty good on some levels. But I don't get how he thinks the tracks were easier to follow when IMO they were harder to follow and I found myself backwards at times. Worst of all he thinks JM2 scenery looks awful when he clearly hasn't played the level Hot Shot (pretty much my favorite level alongside Ka-Ma-Te in terms of scenery).
Ah well he's a critic, critics suck.

Seriousely, Jet Moto 3 are the better : take the boost in air cheat on and make the cheat code "infinite turbo", and voila!, you fly! This is why i like more Jet Moto 3 than the two other, flying are not possible in Jet Moto 1 and Jet Moto 2!

So you only think the game is better because you can cheat in it? ....because that's exactly what you just said. Having cheats available in games is one thing, and in some games it's even mandatory for certain points (unlocking Minion in TM2). But saying a game is better just because you can cheat in it...that doesn't make it better in the least (sure does make it a lot easier though...). I'll gladly challenge you to legit JM3 course records, because the ones i set now are basically placeholders until someone else besides me actually tries them. Mabye Jet Moto 1 and 2 are too hard for you? Did you ever think about that? You don't need cheats in the first 2 games if you take a little time with it. I'll admit, I'm HORRIBLE at JM2, but i can still keep up with Professional Difficulty.

I like Jet Moto 3 about as much as the other games in the series because of it's art style, musical choices and general design, but yeah, The actual gameplay is a bit....ugh...uncontrollable....From what I've picked up reading the topics here, the normal speed that the bikes would have attained without boost was a slower but Sony saw it fit to make it faster. That actually explains a lot, and in the end it became another example of Sony completely screwing over a quality game with it's own BS agenda.
tl;dr- Jet Moto 3 LOOKS and SOUNDS awesome, but it FEELS worse then the other two.
Guy reviewing is an asshat. It's like how people bitched about Sonic Unleashed entirely because A. They sucked at it and B. They sucked so much that they didn't even get past the third continent. Just because YOU can't play it doesn't mean you can call it a bad game.

I personally thought the soundtrack was crap. I liked Chuck E. Myers for all he did to make those soundtracks kickass, that was 50% of the "badassness" for me, and a reason today why JM1 is still my favorite game. Chuck is, to me, a master of VGMs.

Really? While I still love the rock music of the first two Jet Motos, the more techno driven music of Jet Moto 3 has a place deep in my heart, too. I don't think a rock based soundtrack would have fit that well with some of the settings either. Like Machu-Pichu or Planet X.
