Part of the reason why I was looking for JM videos, and ended up finding this place is because I had, just last night, found out about this new game for the PC and current consoles called Nail'd
From footage I've seen, you ride on rocket powered quad bikes through realistic, yet ludicrous landscapes. It involves turbos, incredible jumps and truly INSANE speed! It's not exactly the same, but it looks almost exactly like what I imagine Jet Moto would look like on a next-gen system. Just with the technology knocked back a bit.
Thoughts? If this doesn't exactly fit here, then please correct me.

First off, welcome to the club dude. Good to have you. But yeah that game looks pretty sick, I just have no idea how that guy knows where he's going. The speed is insane and the track's kind of all over the place. I can imagine JM4 with a very similar style but I would hope the tracks have simpler boundaries just so you know exactly where to go. This looks like a lot of fun but I think it would make for better racing with multiple riders if the tracks were just simpler. But the environment itself is awesome and creative and I could definitely picture similar ones in JM4.

The parts where he is on pavement kind of remind me of Trackmania. I don't know why.

I like the environment a lot. But the special effects seem too gimmicky for me to enjoy. But the game has a lot of elements from Jet Moto. Maybe they were inspired somewhat by it.

One specific thing about this game that I'd like to see in a new Jet Moto is the ability to use turbo in the air. I never understood the physics of that and I think it could add a cool and challenging dimension to the game.

The game, to me, looks like Jet Moto with more of an arcade-ish feel and style. I REALLY love the mandatory mid-air manuvering and the glorious scenery, but it's like CaMacKid said, it's a bit too gimmicky. I haven't seen that much of the game, but I think that it would be a lot better if it had a few more innovative/fun things to do during play. Less like Jet Moto and more like....SSX or Sonic Riders.
The soundtrack also sounds like something I'd want to use the MP3 Overide feature to drown out...It's good...but then it's not original in the slightest. The genre they harvested songs from isn't even original for this type of game!

It seems similar if the trend of Jet Moto games went to their logical conclusion and created somewhat-confusing tracks, ramped the speed up to 12, and reduced the number of opponents to 1.
No suicide tracks either... Yep, that would fit into the trend too.

Looks more like MX Unleashed and ATV Off-Road Fury to me. The only thing i see different is that the turbos are added.
