"NOOB ALERT! NOOB ALERT!"
Crap, I tripped the alarm...
Well hello there. I found this site from someone's YouTube video and decided to check it out. Nice forum...
I will come out and say that I haven't been "a long time" fan of the series, but I found some clips on YouTube and it piqued my interest. My only real experience playing Jet Moto when I was younger was a demo for Jet Moto 2. This past Saturday, I found a copy of Jet Moto 1 at a pawn shop. I got it for about $3 and man, this is a fun game!
Because of my inexperience, I find "easy" mode very challenging. So I've only been able to play the first three tracks. I haven't gotten around to unlocking the others. I like the music also. I remember a couple of tunes from Twisted Metal 2.
This looks like a good forum. I look forward to meeting you all...

Because of my inexperience, I find "easy" mode very challenging. So I've only been able to play the first three tracks. I haven't gotten around to unlocking the others. Set the difficulty to Amateur and the Trophy Presenter to Male and press Start. When the highlight appears on the menu press Up, right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left. Then set the difficulty to Professional and the Trophy Presenter to Riders Choice. Press Start and press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right at the main menu.

Gonna try Nightmare out when I get the chance!

Don't worry. I've been playing JM since JM2 came out and I still can't beat professional.
Welcome!

Welcome to the site! Yeah JM1 is seriously challenging but it's not impossible. Check out the World Record videos! Mcniggleston and Bear have posted some wicked times, their techniques might help you get a hang of JM1.
It's awesome that there are still new fans coming around. I think the new videos that have been showing up on YouTube have been a big help. Be sure to spread the word that Jet Moto does have a home and it's here.

Haha, Bear has me CANNED. But welcome aboard! JM1 is my preferred of the 3 released officially. If you like the music....I've done covers on a few of the tracks, such as Willpower and Snowblind, as well as Dark Tooth's Theme from Twisted Metal 2.

Welcome aboard dude. And nice pic...Grimm's my boy in TM2. My favorite character is Roadkill, but Mr. Grimm had the best character picture... Twisted Metal 2 was how I found out about Jet Moto actually... I've grown up with Twisted Metal all my life and Jet Moto was basically that parallel highway that I couldn't get access to until now...

Welcome! Glad to hear the game can still attract new fans even in the second decade of the 21st century. Roadkill is my fave too, though crimson fury was always super fun.
