with the analog joysticks or without? I actually always wondered, does anyone play any Jet Moto game with joysticks? Because I find it completely unplayable without a proper D-Pad, which has always been more precise and faster to use than an analog stick to me. You mean analog? When I first emulated it against advice from Barrel I tried it... it's not ideal, but it works, it's so goddamn precise, like I mean it's so precise the controls, that you go sprawling into walls. When I bought it on ps3 digital mode is turned on by default and I didn't even bother trying the analogs. I'm still learning, but this might be one of the few games where I can dig it.

Yeah, I can't use analogs in a Jet Moto game, I just can't, lel. I'm too used to the d-pad.

Fun fact about Jet Moto:
"I interviewed at a couple of local game companies, and somehow BS'd them enough to get a job offer from both. I worked on some hit titles... and some not-so-hit titles. Amusingly, when I was hired at SingleTrac I was probably more knowledgeable about the games biz and making games than most of the other people there. Most of the employees had been at/ from a major simulation company, and had decided to form a game company in the belief that they could make games."
Via Jay Barnson on a interview he did.
I've managed to find a few of the past Jet Moto crew, some stayed in video games others moved on to things as Software designers to actual Software Architects. The power house single trac actually was is pretty interesting.

So most of Single trac never developed a video game eh? Glad they got the right guy to head them cause JM is fantastic.

Interesting, explains the poor optimization of JM1&2, but otherwise, they got very lucky, both games are masterpieces.
