Discuss the most frustrating JM2 track here.

I just hate how its easy to win this track except when you keep getting bumped of the bridge by other racers. Ugh

At the suicide turn past the metal bridges if you go near the dark tunnel next to the bump, creepy monster eyes will appear and it will make a roar. A cool little hidden thing they put there.
Anyone ever jump completely over the switchbacks?

Anyone ever jump completely over the switchbacks? Haha! Yes, I love that little Easter Egg! When I was little I used to show that to everyone, some people still don't know about it. It's similar to the Slickrock Gorge Egg. And switchbacks? Well I'd try but I would get canned fast.

I jumped over the switchbacks all the time! It saves valuable time.

I do not "jump" over the switchbacks. I FLY!
Lol, me three. Definitely shaves seconds off of the time, although it's a bit tricky to get the angle just right.
I turn up the brightness & contrast on my TV just to see through this track, let alone the left & right side of the loading screen to read the descrips.
As for my experience, somehow my bike keeps getting caught on the metal bridge chains in the original game. Normally I don't have a problem with it, but now it's ticking me off.

Aside from Krap Yks, The Shaft's switchback jump is definitely my favorite shortcut in the series.

i just learned this neat trick yesterday in the Turnarounds. on both turnarounds you could hold L1 and L2, and go to the left of the Cirlcle- making you do this cool inverted turn it especially helps on the second turnaround not so much the first one- it just looks cool on the first one, you need to have a light bike to do it, i know you could do it with The Max so you could probably do it as heavy as Vampeera
@claudio: the eyes you were talking about are in the second turnaround just look at the closed off area were it's closed off by planks of Wood in The Shaft of course

Gonna add to this even though this is an almost ten year old thread and say that this track scared the absolute crap out of me when I was younger. Especially when you would peek into one of the mine shafts at the first roundabout and the eyes would peek out at you.
