Here's the place to name those games with rockin' soundtracks besides Jet Moto! By rockin, i'm talkin mean and/or guitar heavy, no fairy and fruitcake music allowed! THE SOUNDTRACK MUST BE EXCLUSIVE TO THE GAME, NO LICENSED CRAP LIKE TODAYS GAMES! I know you all know some of them I don't....but here's a few I know...I'll post them as i remember them. In no particular order : -Lords of Thunder (TG-16, Sega CD....THE MOST "shred" soundtrack of ALL TIME, and ties with Jet Moto for me) -Twisted Metal 1+2 (PS1, Chuck Myers never fails to deliver) -ESPN Extreme Games/1Xtreme + 2Xtreme (PS1) -Spawn : The Eternal ( PS1....as bad as the game was, the fight music was great!....and also Cieran19's favorite game of all time lmao) -Wild Woody (Sega CD.....soundtrack written by Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal) -Nuclear Strike (PS1.....what a theme song!) -Gex (3DO, PS1....again, fantastic shredding title screen theme) -Android Assault : The Revenge of Bari-Arm (Sega CD...a must have for Sega CD) -Warhawk (PS1, Chuck Myers again!) -Gauntlet Legends (PS1, N64....Skorne's Battle Music is SICK!) -Final Fantasy VII (PS1....the boss battles were great) -Legend of Dragoon (PS1....this whole soundtrack kicked ASS, some intense battle tunes) Well, you all take it from here....If i remember any more they'll be up!

Shadow the Hedgehog (for me) gets top honors. Crush 40 rocks.
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 also have C40, who still rock.
Sonic and the Black Knight has Marty Friedmen (as in Megadeth) and rips up a killer solo in the final boss battle (C40 also does the theme, but Marty and All Ends are way better)
FF7. More specifically, if Misha "Bulb" Mansoor did it:
You can see where my loyalties are.

Crush 40 has Johnny Gioeli on vocals, he's now with Axel Rudi Pell, who happens to be one of my favorite guitarists! Marty Friedman was best with Cacophony and Hawaii though.

BUMP! Cmon fellas! There's gotta be more of those games you know out there! ;D Lol. Well there aren't too many for me. I do love some of the music in Call of Duty MW2. Most of that is composed by Hans Zimmer who I think is a genius. Though I couldn't find any downloads or youtubes of my favorite song in the game, which is the split screen menu I think. Just has a nasty beat. Another war game that I thought had some great themes was Medal of Honor Frontline. Just sets a really appropriate tone for a WW2 game. Kind of reminiscent of the movie Saving Private Ryan. Here's a link of the main menu theme Other than that, a lot of what I like has already been posted. The TM2 theme is flat out nasty, and I love Slickrock Gorge from JM2. Seems to me like a lot of games simply take music from actual artists and insert it into their menus nowadays (especially sports games). Back in my Dreamcast days I played a lot of Marvel VS Capcom and liked being Captain America sometimes just because his theme was awesome. Here's a link to that. But yeah, if I think of anything else I'll post it up. Haven't thought too much about it.

Here's another version of that Medal of Honor song. Shit gets pretty epic toward the end.

Another one! This is more unknown but this tune got me excited every time I was in a space battle on Freelancer. This is the epic battle theme by James Hannigan.

ANother one that needs to be mentioned is Guilty Gear/ It's practically based off heavy metal! The music is all made by Daisuke Ishiwatari, who also created the game series.

Alpha Squad. It isn't even out yet, but the soundtrack is done by Grant "Stemage" Henry of Metroid Metal (easily my biggest influence).
Comes out next week on XBL Arcade.

Wow, Spawn and Nuclear Strike bring back some memories. I remember I could barely get anywhere in Spawn just because it confused the crap out of me. Anyway I can't believe this whole time I've forgotten about probably my favorite video game soundtrack...Need for Speed 2. That game was just awesome. But yeah here are a couple tracks.
I couldn't find the song alone for the intro so I just put up the video itself.

Not surprised, Bear. Spawn SUCKED other than the soundtrack. A real Spawn game...go with the SNES version(got that one too ). It's hard as balls, but it's a great beat em up, and the controls don't blow.
