I've had them all at one point. First one was crazy hard. My disc randomly quit working though.
Second one was good but if I remember the controls were a bit stiff. First game I've ever heard a cuss.
Third one I like. I Have some fond memories of it, but I can't remember it completely.

I had a demo cd that had one of these games on it. I think it was "Enter the Gecko"? Whatever that one is. But yea I'd play just that demo every now n then. Though it's been probably 10 years. But it was fun, made me laugh sometimes.

I don't know what it was....but Gex never transitioned to 3D very well in my opinion. The first game, the only 2D Gex, is just like you stated, by far the hardest of the trilogy. The high level of difficulty makes me love it even more, especially those deadly Planet X levels like "The Web" or the EXTREMELY deadly "Clothesline" (not using the ducking glitch that is) . I grew up on this game...it was one of my first Playstation games I ever got in 1995, and overall, I just love the game to death. It has definitely worked its way into my Top 5 PS1 games.

I never played the first two games, but I LOVED Gex: Enter the Gecko. Going through different TV channels with different flicks and programs, such as Kung-Fu Theatre, Horror, Cartoon, and others. Wish I had it again. Gex was hilarious everytime I heard him. I still remember the part with the moving bear statue from the Haunted House level. Looking back now, I wonder how I would feel about Gex in 3D had I played the first game before anything else. I'll go looking for these at the flea market, too.

Yeah, I just remembered. I forgot to edit that beginning part when I first remembered. I mistakenly thought I had played the 3rd game, but I just played the 2nd. *Nikolai from Nazi Zombies* Oh, I feel stupid...
