I made this topic mainly to allow people to share their memories of Jet Moto from the distant past.

I remember how way back when I was really young, I used to watch the demos just to see the tracks that I didn't know how to unlock. I was five at the time, so I wasn't very good at the game... for some reason I always picked Masala and sucked at Joyride and Suicide Swamp.

One day, my dad unlocked the intermediate courses, and I was really happy to finally play on the likes of Ice Crusher, Cypress Run, and Cliffdiver.

I always played this game with my Dad when I was younger. He and I would play and beat the seasons. I was never as good as him at it at the time either. After we beat the tracks we use to hold turnies with other family members. Good times.

Hmm I remember way back a friend had the demo sampler (one that came with the PSX) that had Jet Moto and Armored Core in it. I used to always ask to borrow and we sometimes would lend each other sampler discs. I just always wanted to play those two demos.

I had a demo disk too, and I remember playing the Jet Moto trailer a lot before getting the game.

When I finally got the game, the graphics were way different than those on the trailer, and I used to think there was a way to unlock the legendary "red team".

I still have that demo disc somewhere lol. I don't play it anymore of course. Also have one with Jetmoto 2 where you play Meltdown. I remember how excited I got when I got that demo disk in the mail. No point in those anymore.

Yeah I remember the one I played was JM2 with Meltdown. Speaking of Meltdown, I was showing JM2 to my friend (not the one from my last post) and he was telling me he remembered playing the demo. He referred to it as the one with the volcano lol. I always get that feeling of nostalgia with Meltdown.

Ah yes, the Meltdown demo, I remember playing that as well, although I played it after I got JM2 with my PS for Christmas. I believe the music was different in the demo, is it not?

I got the first Jet Rider in 1996 as a gift for buying Playstation 1. Ever since then it became my favorite game of all time

I never heard of the Meltdown demo.

Anyone here seen the beta footage of Jet Moto? Back before sponsors were set, and all the maps used Cypress Run for a mini-map.

I have. They just had basic colors and the bikes looked different. It was like red yellow and green or something like that. It's been a long time since I've seen it.

Yea, they had just basic colors like red, yellow, green, and blue. I know that there's a vid somewhere on YouTube showing that.

DUDE!!! I had a demo disc with JM and AC on it too! I played that demo disc over and over and over.
I remember playing the Armored Core demo and playing the JM demo with my brother-in-law.

I remember when I was younger, playing these games all the time. Specifically the first one, with my brother-in-law. I owned this, and he owned Metal Gear Solid and Resident EVil 2. So, whenever he'd get tired of me beating him at this game, he'd pop in one of those and I'd watch him play.
