The file is way smaller than it should be when I extract it. Fuck, I need a good extractor and we might not only be able to change the music in JM3, but possibly repair the one in 2124!

Okay, I got the extraction working, but I still can't modify or extract the whole music files. But I might just be able to extract and modify video files though...

Alright! So video works! Still haven't gotten audio working, and it probably never will work. I extracted the correct size of the XA file, and the XA Audio Converter only recognizes 38 seconds of audio, which I CAN modify, but the rest of the music tracks aren't modifiable, though they are still in the XA file.

I found a program capable of converting the XA audio to WAV, but it can't convert WAV to XA. It's unfortunate, but now I know that the problem is the XA Audio Converter and not JM3's XA format.

IT WORKED! YES!! I CAN NOW REPLACE VIDEO AND AUDIO IN THE GAME, WOOOOOOO, SAY HELLO TO NEW SOUND TRACKS AND NEW BIKE SOUND EFFECTS!
EDIT: The program doesn't detect the audio in the VB files, so no changing the sound effects just yet...

JM3 Origins In-dev V2(Patch notes)(Physics)- Massive overhaul of the physics since last version.
- Set the hop factor to zero on all bikes (except Granny and Capt. Ballard), effectively removing it.
- Every single bike (except Granny and Capt. Ballard) has had its handling nerfed dramatically.
- Every single bike (except Granny and Capt. Ballard) now has the same boosting top speed, but a different throttle top speed.
- Fixed a physics value that allowed you to maintain your top speed when letting go of the throttle. (except Granny and Capt. Ballard)
(Videos)- Intro video has been replaced by a random video filmed by my brother as a proof of concept.
(Music)- Music now plays like it's supposed to. No more awkward silence in any track.
- Skypark's music track has been replaced by Nightmare's.
(Riders)- Enigma and Enemiga's textures have been rolled back to Cpt. Ballard and Granny's original textures, they will be back in the next version.
I'd like to know your opinion about the new physics, I don't know if the handling of the lighter bikes should be buffed a bit or if it's good enough.

HOLY SHIT this is tough! Play this at 30 FPS if you want to even have a chance to win! I finished 1st on Ytic Tsol by 10 milliseconds with a near perfect run... If you play this at 60 FPS on ePSXe, the AI becomes literally unbeatable on most tracks.

JM3 Origins In-dev V2.5(Patch notes)(Tracks)- SkyPark is now fully retextured into SkyMare.
- Added a custom loading screen for SkyMare and EramYks, unfortunately, EramYks is not yet retextured, this will be added in the next update.
(Videos)- Replaced the SkyPark video preview with a custom SkyMare video preview.
(Riders)- Enigma and Enemiga's textures have been reinserted into the game.

In the beginning, I thought that I might have overnerfed the lighter bikes' handling, but now I'm pretty confident in these physics (though I do consider re-adding the hop, Uhccip Uhcam is almost impossible without it). It feels a bit heavy and slow at first if you're used to the original JM3, but after a while, it becomes awesome and feels surprisingly fast enough! Seriously, I STRONGLY recommend anyone who dislikes JM3 to give this a try, you won't be disappointed!

I'm almost done with a re-texture of Khumbu Ice Falls. Next up: Catacombs. Should I re-texture Catacombs using The Shaft's textures, making it into a cave or using JM2124's texures, making it into a space station?

I'm done with Khumbu Ice Falls' re-texture. Now all that's left is to give it a new loading screen and video preview. By the way, I'm going balls to the wall with this mod. I'm going to re-texture every single track and rider! That means I'll have to edit the riders' video preview as well.

So, I have done a little bit of experimentation in the BIKES.BND 3D model file. It only contains a 3D model for each bike and for each rider gender. So 6 3D models for the bikes and 2 3D models for the riders. Strangely, the models are named "LITESPRT.psx, STDVP.psx, HVYBOMB.psx, EXTSHK.psx, GRANNY.psx, CHPBIKE.psx, RIDRMAX.psx and RIDRVAMP.psx" and not in a generic fashion like "LITEBIKE.psx, STDBIKE.psx", etc. I can switch them around by copy/pasting their code in an HEX Editor. I suspect that the BIKES.WLD file determines which character loads which rider and bike model. I'll try to look into it, that way I might be able to put in new characters in the place of others. For example, I want to replace Wild Ride with Lil' Dave and Spirit with Wild Ride. I have to make it so that Wild Ride loads a male character.
