Ok, a Jet Moto PC mod would be amazing too! I think it could be more easy to edit it, with some of the Jet Moto Central people, we could make a Jet Moto Central Edition out of it, and make it free for everyone! I've never seen the secret credits, thank's for posting them

I have a lead on how to open the TEX and maybe the PCX files as well. Doing some tinkering with a bunch of programs I came across InfranView. InfranView didn't open it but told me that the TEX files were misnamed PCX files. So then I went looking for info on PCX files. PCX files might be "Paintbrush Bitmap" files. There used to be software in the 80s-90s called PC Paintbrush. This might open it. Only thing I need to find the dang software.
The goal is to find that software or whatever eventual successor of it. But at least I got to learn some interesting stuff about old software. lol

Ok, for .PCX files, you can open them easily with GIMP, a free image editor.

I just used a JPEG to PCX converter. Which really wasn't needed.I don't have JM3 on my PC anymore, so if you know how, try changing one of the extensions of the .TEX files to .PCX and see what happens.
Edit: Or I could just copy it off my my disc. Duh.

Nope, .TEX aren't .PCX, they use another format, that I don't know. If they were misnamed .PCX, GIMP would be able to open them. I even tried a second time with another .TEX file, and it still was not openable.
