Alright here we go. I'm pretty sure it's fixed now.

NOTE: DO NOT MESS WITH ANY OTHER FILES IN YOUR REGISTRY. DELETING FILES CAN MESSES UP YOUR COMPUTER OR WORSE.
IF YOU DELETE THE WRONG FILE AND MESS UP YOUR PC. DO NOT. DO NOT BLAME ME.

The way you do this is go to regedit.exe and look for sony interactive.

The file tree should be

-sonyinteractive
-Jetmoto
-1.0.0

Right click Sony interactive and hit export to export your save, among controls and other options will be saved when exported, then delete the fileSony Interactive. Run the registry file and then you should have your save back. Does this work in exchanging saves? I don't know, but you can try. If it doesn't work I'm ultimately clueless.

You might want to get on that. Might come in handy if you want to participate in races with other board members or events, which I'll try to make span over every jetmoto in their own way.

(I don't know if the two versions are compatible due to the fact one you must install the other you don't. I am using the one posted in the forum which requires install.)

Did you make sure when you extracted the files were in the parent directory LOADSAVE and not the extracted file LOADSAVE?

And if it asked to overwrite did you hit yes to all?

Hmm. I'm not sure why then. First back up and delete all your save files then,You could try redownloading to a diffrent spot and when extracting extract to file "loadsave" in the C:\Program Files\Sony Interactive\Jet Moto\shell file and see if that helps.


If that doesn't I'm not quite sure why it isn't working.


Oh, yes. Are you using the CD version or the other version I posted?

The save is probably exclusive to the copy. I haven't tried the thing yet.

Hmm. Must be. I tried it with a friend and it worked, guess it was just situational though.

Then again, I did give him a copy of mine specifically.

In theory, if you replace the whole shell folder it might work. Considering it has almost everthing that runs/ID's the game. Only problem is I dunno how big it might turn out.

If that doesn't work, it will just result in trying to send my whole jetmoto folder. Which, is a last resort.

Poking around my Jetmoto folder, I noticed PROFILES.ini Think that might have something to do with it. Maybe. So I want to try this first.
This goes into the Jetmoto Main Directory.

Hmm... that would be too much to send.

One thing I noticed is when I had removed my LOADSAVE items (I moved em to the desktop so they weren't lost) The game still had the data of my original save. It seems the LOADSAVE folder has no effect. Also I believe that folder is just data of the load/save system. The PCX files are the background images from the game.

I think it lies in the profile.ini file. Send yours and I'll see what happens.
