Cool thread that I haven't given much attention to. Never really thought much about the possible tracks but I have thought about the actual bikes a little bit. Always pictured the game with modern amazing graphics (though it's not my biggest concern), but mostly I thought about the sound effects. For turbo I imagined an initial popping/exploding sound kind of like when a race car backfires (if you've ever heard it in person it's pretty freaking awesome). Then it would ease into a more familiar sound similar to current turbo, but it would more resemble an actual fighter jet blasting off. Also, the duration of the noise would be equal to however long you hold the turbo (if the system is like JM2 anyway). Each bike or class of bike can be slightly unique in its sound as well.

Alright guys i came up with this yesterday i was just suddenly inspired and i would like to Present to you guys my creation- Her name is Cassandra "Exciter" Bronson- and she's Wild Ride's #1 Rival. It just struck me all of a sudden and i started thinking what would be a cool rival to Wild Ride and so i started think of words with "Ex" or something i was like i need something just as wild and i'm like "exhaust, what no somethin' else" hmm and then it popped in my head Exciter- i then remembered that it fits cos there's a canadian metal band and also the Judast priest Song of the same name so i was like Yeah i'd definitely want to race with a name like that. So then i contemplated names for short while and i decided to name her Cassandra after Elvira's real name and Bronson from this movie of the same name and it's just a sort of name that almost demands respect just because of the way it sounds. So i wanted her to look the opposite of Wild Ride so instead of Blond I went Black long hair and bangs - and she ended up resembling Elvira a bit which i like. i decided that she's in Team Red Bull i could already imagine the black hair swaying in the silver and blue race suit going up against the mountain dew red and Green Blond bombshell. i'm really happy with her i think she has what it takes to join the Ranks of Jet Moto so what do you guys think? alright, this track is contained within a MAsSIVE Elevator and it's constantly going up and once The Lead Racer finishes a lap the Elevator takes a huge jump up until finally the 3 laps are finished and then the Racer jumps unto the final stretch towards the finish line. the gap between the Elevator and the final strip of track will be wider than the one i drew. And I like the Idea Barreld had of Metalcide so i wanted to combine that with this idea cause i wanted it to have a scrapmetal feel too Well anyway i think it'd be pretty cool oh and this one i think will have a Blast Chamber feel too it'll be almost like 2 tracks in one Attachments:

Ok this one Consists of going higher and higher- it's constantly going uphill and just one lap will be needed for this one cause i want that straightaway to be so vast in length and there's gonna be challenges to go through all the way towards the top. the two endpoints of the drawing aren't to scale the emphasis of the this track is the straight away which is much larger than drawn. up up up i wanna go Attachments:

Man, after all these years, I still think these track designs and ideas I made still hold up. Maybe a resurgence later on?

Spent some time organizing the rider lineup. Still 24 racers total across 8 teams. The riders chosen/created were based on story continuation from JM2 as well as similar interests for most teams.

oh man i forgot that jmg and 4 were separate i was hoping we'd all work together, maybe you could fuse together? my vote's for "probity" making an appearance haha i like the name
yeah and i definitely like that you could do the Logo with the computer, i don't really like drawing up letters, looks more professional too
oh yeah and i want to tell everyone that i got an anatomically correct skull it's Awesome haha it'll help me draw better heads

The reason I would like to keep the two separate, is that I can get pretty anal about how the game would look, lol. I would love for the art direction to go back to comic style art, and maybe I'll conjure up some new concepts on UI and stuff. As for now, just like back then, this is mostly fanfic.

I would love for the art direction to go back to comic style art [...] Well, Toxic said he could design the art I needed for JMG, so it's likely the logos, menus and character designs will stay in the same artwork as JM1&2 (Toxik is amazing at making comic-looking art!), but the gameplay will look different. Of course, it's being made in UE4 so the tracks gonna look amazing (at least compared, but the characters will be (in true old Jet Moto fashion) just reskinned male and female 3D models, so it won't really impair the art style.
